As we met at one joyful service with every seat filled in our nave to call Rev. Seminarian Wendy Deeben as our associate pastor, we celebrated with joy and thanksgiving the blessings of our chancel choir, Sing & Rejoice worship leaders, and the dedication of our Sunday School teachers. In anticipation of breaking ground for the North Wing, we blessed the freshly painted footprint of the coming building with our prayers, pounding our signed building stakes into the ground and singing “This Little Light of Mine” while sparklers glowed around the perimeter. With moon bounce and puppet show, story tellers, volley ball and picnic fare, we celebrated God’s grace at Saint Nicholas and the many ministries that will be enabled with the coming North Wing!
