The idea for a new congregation was born in April of 1989 and our first official service was held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church five months later. Services were moved to Plum Point Middle School and the group was officially chartered as an ELCA congregation in 1992. Land for the present church building was purchased in 1995 and the fiirst service held in the completed building was on November 12, 2000.
