I was excited the other day when I received information from Mar-Lu-Ridge about their summer camps. Attending church camp is one of my fondest memories. I didn’t attend Mar-Lu-Ridge since I grew up in Pennsylvania. I went to a little place called Camp Mt. Luther.

In later elementary and in middle school, I went to Mt. Luther for a week of Bible study, prayer, games, activities, arts and crafts, and many other opportunities. I have great memories from my church camp experiences (some of which include water balloon fights and swamping canoes in the lake…). The friendships that I made with other youth throughout central Pennsylvania were meaningful to me. It was nice to know that I was not the only youth who loved God and wanted to go to church camp and strengthen my relationship with God.

Mar-Lu-Ridge offers a variety of camping experiences for ages 6 to adult. Some of the camping experiences that Mar-Lu-Ridge offers are junior camps, mini camps, junior fishing camp, day camp, family camp, performing arts camp, horseback camp, soccer camp, Christmas in July week, night owls camp, canoe camp, and many others.

I encourage our youth to try camp at Mar-Lu-Ridge. Church camp is an amazing experience that will deepen your relationship with God.
