The Reverend Randall W. Casto

The Reverend Randall Casto has a diverse and varied background. He served Saint Nicholas Lutheran Church as pastor from the summer of 2000 until September 4, 2005. He and his wife, Patricia, have five children and two grandchildren. The Castos live near the Chesapeake Bay and enjoy the delights of boating and fishing the Bay. As a family, they enjoy travel having visited Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, Alaska, Mexico, Argentina, and all of Europe.

A fraternal twin, Pastor Casto was born in Charleston, West Virginia, but spent much of his youth in the Tampa, Florida area. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida, executive business management certification from Columbia University of New York City, and a Master of Divinity professional degree from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Prior to entering full-time ministry, Pastor Casto spent over 20 years in the computer industry, serving for several years as president of a Colorado-based software company with offices in various countries of the world.

Pastor Casto is a licensed pilot, instrument-rated. He enjoys snow skiing, digital photography, various sports, follows a regular exercise program, and appreciates a fine glass of wine. His favorite movies are “Out of Africa” and “Meet the Parents.”
