Saint Nicholas is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and is guided by the ELCA Confessions of Faith. The ELCA meets in assembly every two years, has 5 million baptized members in 10,721 congregations that are organized into 65 Synods in 9 geographic regions, and is served by 8 seminaries. Saint Nicholas is served bv the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg.
